NEW! Application for Being Blessed by the Land of Vallecitos: Gently Held Self-Retreat Spring

With René Rivera

May 26 - June 2, 2024

40% off as a gift to our community. We invite you to be our guest at Vallecitos on self-retreat this spring.  On our beautiful forested land you will be supported to come into connection with yourself, your practice, and the natural rhythms of the earth and sky. As we gather together for this first retreat of the season there will be opportunities to offer and receive blessings in deep relationship with this land.

There will be opening and closing rituals together at the start and end of the retreat. Held by the structure of daily morning and evening practice time and three nourishing meals each day, you will have the freedom to find your own inner guidance and to listen deeply to the teachings of the land.

Our teacher, René Rivera, will offer optional small group meetings to share and ask questions in addition to the optional practice time at the start and end of each day. In this retreat, your time is yours to structure.  Enjoy ample space to rest, explore, hike, and continue your practice with René’s support.

This offering will be held in Noble Silence. We are offering a 5- or 7-night option for this retreat, all starting on May 26th. You will note your preference in the application and we will adjust your retreat total accordingly.

Prerequisite: This retreat is suitable for those who have attended at least one residential meditation retreat in the past.

APPLICATION PROCESS: (Please read until the end.)

Registration for this retreat is by application.  Within the application review process we are curating experience level and a few other factors to create an optimal retreat container.

Submitting an application does not ensure a space in the retreat.  Applications will be reviewed within 5 business days and those invited to attend will be sent a link to register for the retreat. Once the retreat is full, you will automatically be placed on the waitlist and will be notified of availability on a rolling basis. Notifications often move quickly so we recommend checking your email regularly. Please note that you will be asked to complete your registration details and pay your retreat fees within 48 hours of your offer to attend.

If you have questions about this new registration process, please contact Jan at refuge@vallecitos.org or by calling 505-469-9017.
