Amidst the high alpine mountains, Vallecitos is a breathtaking, off-grid wildlife preserve on the ancestral territories of the Ute and Jicarilla Apache Peoples (Tusas mountains, New Mexico). Rooted in the teachings of Theravada Buddhism, a tradition which uplifts practice in the forest as a doorway to liberation, our programs offer a unique combination of silence, tailored instruction, practice within community and connection with the natural world.
