In the stillness of the mountains at Vallecitos, we remember a deeper refuge — a belonging that the world cannot give or take away.

On this BIPOC Insight Meditation retreat, we will slow down into presence, supported by noble silence, the wisdom of the body, and the living refuge of nature. We will sit, walk, listen, and rest into the felt sense of being welcomed by the land. Through Dharma reflections, practice discussions, and time both together and alone in the wilderness, we reconnect with an inner steadiness that doesn’t depend on external conditions — learning to be in wise relationship with the way things are.

Open to all self-identified Black, Indigenous, and People of Color: new and experienced practitioners. Silent except for guided teachings and practice meetings.
